Window Seat: Featured Personality

Every now and then, Window Seat will feature a person of interest who is associated with the author of this blog. Window Seat features Ma. Teresita Glinoga-Hizon or Tesay Glinoga who is running for mayor of Manila, one of the largest cities in the Philippines. Tesay Glinoga is an advocate for women and children's rights and of the poor and the oppressed. She is the author's former classmate and best friend in high school, Immaculate Conception Academy of Manila. The title translates to "The Ice Cream Man", which reminds me of my father, a retired chief engineer of the Magnolia Dairy Products Plant, a division of San Miguel Corporation. Celeste Legaspi, a famous Filipino singer and actress and daughter of a National Artist in the Philippines, wrote and performed this delightful song.
